Whether you want to cut costs, help the environment, or maybe both, it’s probably time to upgrade your current car to something with much better gas mileage. There are several new Chevy vehicles that have great fuel efficiency, including:

Chevy Bolt EV

The all-electric Chevy Bolt EV is powered by an electric motor and a 66-kWh lithium-ion battery. These combine to produce 200 horsepower. This sedan gets 131 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) in the city and 109 MPGe on the highway. When fully charged, it has a driving range of 259 miles. Using a 240-volt outlet, you can get the battery charged in about seven hours. With DC fast charging, you’ll get 95 miles of range in 30 minutes.

Chevy Bolt EUV

You’ll get the same motor and battery setup in the electric Chevy Bolt EUV as the Chevy Bolt. It offers 125 MPGe in the city and 104 MPGe on the highway. You’ll be able to travel up to 250 miles in the Chevy Bolt EUV, and the battery will get fully charged in around seven hours. In about 30 minutes, you’ll be able to get 95 miles of driving range with DC fast charging.

Chevy Spark

The Chevy Spark comes with a 98-horsepower 1.4-liter, four-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission. A continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is available. Front-wheel drive comes standard. The Chevy Spark has great gas mileage for its class, and if you go with the CVT, you will get 30 MPG in the city and 38 MPG on the highway.

Chevy Malibu

The base engine in the Chevy Malibu is a 160-horsepower turbocharged 1.5-liter, four-cylinder. The other option is a 250-horsepower turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. A CVT is standard, but a nine-speed automatic is available. Front-wheel drive is also standard.

The base engine will give you 29 MPG in the city and 36 MPG in the highway, which are fantastic numbers for the midsize car class. With the bigger engine you will get 22/33 MPG city/highway.
