If you are looking to explore some of the more rugged terrain in and around Greenville, you can’t just drive anything. It’s important to pick the right vehicle, and if you’re looking for a new pickup, either of these two trucks for sale can help you have very enjoyable off-road adventures:

Chevy Colorado

While the base Chevy Colorado will do nicely off the pavement, there’s a trim you’ll want to go with for the best off-roading experience. The ZR2 comes standard with 4-wheel drive and a two-inch suspension lift. But that’s not all. You will also get:

  • A transfer case shield
  • An off-road specific dynamic damping suspension
  • Electronic locking front and rear differentials
  • 31-inch off-road tires
  • Off-road rocker panel protection

And for the ultimate off-roading, you will want the ZR2 Bison. This comes with 32-inch off-road tires and AEV skid plates for the transfer case, front and rear differential, engine oil pan, and fuel tank.

Chevy Silverado 1500

The Chevy Silverado 1500 is another excellent off-roader, especially if you go with either of the two Trail Boss trims. Both of these come with:

  • Rancho shocks
  • An automatic locking rear differential
  • A two-inch suspension lift
  • Skid plates
  • Hill descent control
  • Off-road tires
  • A two-speed transfer case.
